Mercy Ships: Restoring Sight in Togo by Training Local Eye Surgeons
In Togo, over 30,000 people suffer from blindness due to severe cataracts. Dr. Abram Wodome, a local Togolese eye surgeon, has trained with Mercy Ships in the past and is now passing that knowledge on to other local doctors in order to restore sight to their fellow countrymen.
