Why Social Justice is Important

Hello there!  You don't know me, but I'm new on this thing.  My main goal on this is to talk about social justice issues and how we can make a difference.  I suppose the best thing to do is to start with why that is important. 

Suffering is alive in this world.  But I don't believe that God causes suffering.  I believe His heart breaks as He watches His children suffer.  When Jesus was walking here, He said to take care of the poor, the widows, the orphans.  So we need to pay attention.  God wants us to know about them and to help them when we can. 

In other words, God is planning on us to step in to stop suffering.  The only way we can do this is to educate ourselves in current events and to know how to help.  I hope this gives you a little bit to think about until next time.
