Who's Minding the Youth?

God's Chosen Generation Crying for Salvation-Looking in All the Wrong Places . . . Where is the Church?

In celebration of Revelation Performing Arts Studio Inc. 10th Anniversary, God decided to do a new thing.  He gave the founder a word "2009 Year of Jubilation," scripture verse Isaiah 61, a new name Revelation Performing Arts and Athletics Urban Youth Ministry Inc., and a clear mission to "Use Arts and Athletics to Win Youth for Christ, Disciple for Indigenous Leadership, and Commission for Urban Community Redemption."

The Father further explained that because the church was not on its post and perpetrating a compromised Christianity a generation of youth have been born and raised devoid of God and His righteousness.  He instructed the founder to repent and intercede on behalf of Christians who missed the revelation of "true" Christianity: incarnated beings reflecting the person of Christ, surrendered to the will of God; doing His works as He did the works of His Father-winning souls for the Kingdom of God as He walked the earth; anointing her for radical youth ministry.


God has called this present generation to be agents of spiritual revival.  Yet, how can this happen with traditional Christians taught to be served enjoying their large beautiful churches, extravagant worship, and pacified word from God as told by Pastor's more interested in keeping the pews filled than incarnating believers for the work of God . . . "The Harvest is Plenty but the Workers are Few."

It never ceases to amaze me that the world and all their corruption is never short of workers who are willing to do the work of their father "Satan" volunteering to serve in youth organizations and/or giving of their funds to spread the lies of the enemy while indoctrinating our youth with falsities.  Yet, Christians who are called to be the light neglect to grow beyond self-failing to volunteer and/or donate to youth ministries; justifying their actions with the scriptural verse "a laborer is worthy of his keep." Christ who did the works for our salvation paying our debt with His life on the cross taught if you wish to come after Him you must bear your cross-the cross of being an incarnated Christian void of personal will-transformed by the will of the Father, to do greater

It is time for Christians to come from the sanctity and safety of their beautiful churches, extravagant praise and worship, and pacified ministry of the gospel to the reality of the streets; Jesus did say, "What you have done to the least of them you have done unto Me!" During this hour, our urban youth are amongst the least of them.

Christians' cozy comfortable lifestyle grounded in the prosperity movement to the neglect of spreading the Gospel, has allowed, through the sin of omission, thousands of youth blood to be shed on the streets of urban communities. Studies show more urban youth have lost their life's on the streets of America, since the inception of the Iraqi War out numbers American Soldiers who lost their life in the line of duty.  Where is the outcry from our Christian brethren?

How do we as Christians fight an unjust war against urban youth on American soil?  Simply, by the giving of your time, talents, and treasures. Volunteer to use your gifts to serve in urban youth ministries as mentors-laborers of the cross; along with, providing a one-time or long term donation.  In doing so, you will be equipping the saints for the works of the gospel and opening the flood gates of blessings to befall you.  Moreover, become a prayer warrior for a youth ministry, "The fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much." As, these ministries purposely go into the enemy's territory snatching lives out of darkness into the kingdom of God, they enter into warfare that the prayers of the righteous help them prevail by tearing down strongholds.


The gift of salvation is free.  However, the spreading of the gospel cost.  The body of Christ is blessed and anointed to be a blessing.  We serve a Mighty God who will not be mocked and who is pulling back the sheets revealing counterfeit Christians and anointing a remnant of saints who will go forth doing the works of Christ uncensored for the winning of souls.  Which category do you belong . . . counterfeit or remnant?


I challenge all believers to walk in the word of God; forsaking themselves for the spreading of the gospel, to reach out to an urban ministry and serve and/or donate financially for the 2009 calendar year.  Watch and see how God blesses your life tremendously as He takes you into new heights and debts of the ministry of Christ.
