Stigma Under the Lens - Lineth, Bolivia

Lineth feels isolated and fears being rejected by her family and society. She worries that if she discloses her status she'll be accused of 'sleeping around'.

Nationally in Bolivia, levels of stigma and discrimination are high. But in the third city of Cochabamba, the work of Christian Aid partner IDH has reduced stigma dramatically by setting up support groups, raising awareness in schools, universities and even running sessions with young men doing military service.
