As summer comes to a close and I reflect on a challenging, yet rewarding, last few months, I am reminded of how prayer truly makes a difference in our lives. I am grateful for your commitment to pray for Mercy Ships. I have seen your prayers take action! In this latest report, you will hear about . . . My time on board the ship in which I visited our remarkable Agriculture Program and had a reunion with a past cleft lip and palate patient named Joseph Fofanah.

I hope you'll take a moment to watch the video presentation we prepared especially for you.

This month, we ask that you pray:

* That the Agriculture Program has ongoing and positive effects on the trainees and their communities. * That our patients recognize their value in the image of God and that they can take their place in the world in which they live. * That the crew of the Africa Mercy will have strength and that they will have joy in their work. Your faithful prayer support is greatly appreciated!

If you would like to post a prayer on our website to bless others, please visit our Prayer Wall http://www.mercyships.org/blessing.

Blessings, Deyon Stephens
