Eight months after deadly tornadoes tore through the small community of Bertie County, NC, residents are beginning to resume their daily lives. Samaritan's Purse was on the scene immediately after the disaster and has been their since helping to rebuild homes that were destroyed in the disaster. On December 9, 2011, the first two homes were dedicated and the keys turned over to the new owners.
