TechMission Support Letter from Ann Romney
July 14, 2006
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to show support for TechMission and its programs. My husband and I visited TechMission and we both feel that it is an excellent agency, making a major difference in serving at-risk communities.
TechMission serves the Greater Boston area through various programs and services. Through partnerships with other Community Based Agencies, they provide technology instruction, tutoring, mentoring, college preparation and other services to more than 500 at-risk youth through K-8 after-school programs, and teen programs. Through their computer classes they provide technology training and computer skills to more than 75 adults and older teens to prepare them for employment or advanced employment. TechMission has an association of over 500 organizations that are working to address the digital divide across the country.Their latest initiative, Safe Families, provides information about keeping our kids safe while online.
I urge you to consider supporting TechMission so that they can continue to do the great work that they have been doing through Massachusetts and the rest of the country. I thank you in advance for you assistance.
Sincerely,
Ann Romney
