How I found my job position on UrbanMinistry.org

Printer-friendly versionPDF version

My name is Rachael Jarboe and I am one of the Volunteer Network Coordinators for TechMission.  This position is as a part of the TechMission Corps program at TechMission.  I am writing about how I found this job position.  Well I first heard about TechMission through a friend that is working at the TechMission office in Boston.   My friend told me about this position since they know that I was looking for a job working in the field of urban ministries.  The interesting fact is that I lost the information my friend gave me, but one day I was doing a web search for Boston-located urban ministries and it connected me to TechMission.org and then also UrbanMinistry.org.  When I read the information I found on these website I realized it was the organization that my friend originally told me about. So I then connected with TechMission through conversations, God's direction and then applied.  So then I was accepted into the TechMission Corps program and I am learning a lot about websites along with passion for urban ministry.
