Yeah, Heaventrain," one child yells as she runs to be the first in line for the bus. I  look for the two-year old little girl whose hand is tightly clasped to her four-year old little brother's as they walk across the field toward the bus.

A small child goes up to one of the staff,"Can I have a duck hug?" An unusual question to some but the staff replies, "Small, medium or large," the small voice replies,"Large." The child is then swept off his feet and the staff proceeds to march around in a circle quacking like a duck. Ripples of laughter burst from the small child.

I hear stories from the mother's who came to Heaventrain as little girl's and they now bring their own children each Saturday to Heaventrain. Teenagers who came to Heaventrain as children still faithfully attend each week. A grandmother tells me that each week when her grandchildren hear the train whistle they start running for the door. Stories that will make me laugh and some that will make me cry but all of them I will remember for the remainder of my life.

After two or three church services and 150 people through the bus, I start to get into my car to go to the next stop. Three people walked up to me,"Did we miss the Heaventrain?" "I'm sorry we just finished the last service." The little two-year old girl starts to cry and I'm at a loss for words. She shows me her backpack that is empty.  I give her a snack and promise that we'll be back next week. I was surprised when she didn't stop crying instead she kept walking toward the bus. The most important thing to her that day wasn't receiving a snack it was getting on the Heaventrain.
